Ok, so here's the synopsis of our wedding plans so far:
Date: 3 March 2007
Venue: Kauri Grove, Cambridge Road, Tauranga, NZ
Reception: Daniels Reception Lounge, Memorial Park, Tauranga
Best Man: Mike Ronayne
Bridesmaid: Megan Bennett

We have a few other unimportant things (like a hairdresser, florist etc) already sorted. The big thing though:


I have my wedding dress!!!

I think that about sums it up so far.

Ok, so I got this email the other day, about creating a wedding website where you can post details about the wedding, like how the planning is going, all the details. And I thought, WOW, what a great idea, this way all our friends from around the country and overseas can get an idea about what's going on. Then I read further and went WHAT!!! you want me to pay for this? That put a stop to that idea, until I remembered that blogs are free.

So welcome to Mark and Kelly's Wedding blog.

Updates will be made by the wedding party, that's me (bride), Mark (groom), Megan (bridesmaid) and Mike (best man) when either something interesting happens about the planning, or whenever we feel like musing over how close it suddenly is.
